Colba Christmas

We're back and fairly well recovered from Anna's second Colba Christmas. What fun it was for Anna to spend the weekend as the center of attention with Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Adam! After a bit of sleeping trouble on Friday night (and come on, who doesn't remember not being able to fall asleep at Grandma and Grandpa's house over Christmas vacation?), all went well.

Here are a few of the promised pictures from the weekend. The above group photo is from church on Sunday morning (which Anna was SO well behaved for). The next one is a shot of Anna actually opening a present, with Daddy's help.

Next is a picture of Grandma and Anna playing. It didn't take them long to enjoy one another's company. In fact, it's getting harder and harder to tell who likes it more, Grandma or Anna!

And finally, Grandpa's big gift for Anna this year was her homemade rocking horse. Anna was a bit uneasy about it when she first got to play with it, but since we've been home she really seems to enjoy it, even if she can't quite get on it by herself yet.

On a different note, we got a trial run this morning with having two kiddos at home. Anna and I (well, mostly me) watched a neighbor's 3-month old son for a little while. Anna was such a good sport about the whole thing, bringing baby Blake stuffed animals and being patient when Mommy had to take care of him. However, I definitely learned that life will be quite a bit different come May!
