Last week was warm enough, thankfully, for the girls and I to be able to play outside quite a bit in the afternoons. We did some sledding on our hill, jumped off of boulders into snow drifts, shoveled the driveway, made snow angels, and just had fun. Unfortunately, the snowfall of these two back-to-back storms will probably make the snow too deep for Kate to really enjoy. We'll have to wait and see how it goes once the temperature gets back into the 20s and we can get outside again to play.
Since we didn't have any plans on Saturday and since Matt was home, we took the girls sledding on the neighbor's big hill again. Anna and Kate love it, and it's a pretty good workout for us parents, too! We also took the girls swimming on Sunday afternoon at the high school pool. They both LOVE this time in the water. Anna will, hopefully, be starting up swimming lessons again in a few weeks.
on Monday afternoon we pulled out our video of David Landau and both girls thought it was great.
Butterfly wings ready.

Fly, fly, butterfly, fly!

Jump, little kangeroo, jump!

Roll in the mud, piggies, roll in the mud!

As you can see from these pictures, Kate was feeling much better by the end of the day and she's just got a bit of a runny nose today. Hopefully, none of the rest of us catch this virus!
In all of our indoor time, we've also been doing dress-up, puzzles, games, crafts, cooking, books, and whatever else seems exciting at the time. We'll have to see what we come up with for tomorrow's snowed-in day.
Here's what happened while I was cleaning the bathroom on Saturday morning ... somehow a "clothes Anna" attacked Anna and a "clothes Kate" attacked Kate.

Ah, the games Matt and the girls come up with :)
