We had a nice family celebration on her birthday, complete with birthday muffins, finding sixes, and opening gifts in the morning. Then she had the last day of her writing summer school course.
When Kate, Ethan, and I picked her up, we headed down to Stoughton for a morning of donuts, library time, and a trip to the toy store so both girls could buy their baby dolls some new clothes with their birthday money.
The girls watched a movie on the tower during their quiet time :)
We played in the pool in the afternoon and then had a tasty meal for dinner ... cheddarwursts, pesto pasta, sweet potatoes, and strawberry pie for dessert ... yummy!
We'd been trying for more than a week to go strawberry picking, but because of the wet weather, the farm we usually visit was closed to pick-your-own strawberries.
So we found another one nearby and took a trip out there on Friday morning to get lots of fresh strawberries for Anna's birthday party and enough to make a batch of strawberry jam.
Oh, yeah. And in the midst of that crazy week, Ethan turned 7 months!
